GoBus (Go-Coachhire Ltd) is an independent bus operator and workshop business serving North and West Kent. We're not part of a national group answering to head office somewhere far away — we're a Kent business, run from our depot in Swanley, by people who live in and care about the communities we serve.

Since 2008 we've grown from a single coach into one of the largest independent operators in the county. Today we run a fleet of around 50 buses across more than 40 routes, carrying between 5,000 passengers every single day. Behind every journey is a team of over 70 people — and naturally, most of them are the drivers who get you where you need to be.

What we do

Everyday bus services. From early-morning commutes to school runs and shopping trips, we operate daytime and schools routes right across North and West Kent — connecting towns including Sevenoaks, Swanley, Dartford, Tonbridge and beyond. Many of our services run on behalf of Kent County Council, keeping communities linked that bigger operators often overlook.

Go2 — buses on demand. Not every journey fits a fixed timetable. Go2 is our taxi-style, book-it-when-you-need-it service, currently running in Sevenoaks and Ebbsfleet Valley. Book through the Go2 app and we'll pick you up — flexible travel for places and times where a traditional route doesn't quite work.

Our workshop. Keeping a fleet on the road takes serious engineering, and our workshop does exactly that — not just for our own buses, but for other bus and coach operators too. Decades of hands-on knowledge, all under one roof.

Travel made simple

We want getting on the bus to be the easy part. We offer a straightforward range of tickets, accept the Kent Travel Saver and concessionary passes, and take part in the Thameside multi-operator ticketing scheme — so your ticket works harder across the area. There are discounts for children and young people too, because getting around shouldn't be a luxury.
