Road Closed in Halstead - bus on diversion
Route 3 will change to run between Sevenoaks and Orpington Town Centre (Goodmead Road) on all trips. Due to the continued road closure in Halstead, buses will temporarily run from Dunton Green via Polhill, Halstead, Badgers Mount, Pratt's Bottom, Knockholt and on to Green Street Green in both direction. Due to a road closure in Halstead, buses on routes S34, T3 and TW6 will be impacted.
Due to continued closure of the road between Halstead and Knockholt, buses on routes S34, T3 and TW6 will be impacted.
We have arranged with the contractors for the buses on routes T3 and TW6 to be escorted through the road closure, however is likely to cause some delays to the service. These buses will follow their normal routes.
Due to the size of the bus the S34 is unable to get past the roadworks in the same way and as a result will divert via Rushmore Hill. Customers in Halstead who wish to travel on the S34 need to board either the T3 or TW6 and then transfer to the S34 at the Three Horseshoes in Knockholt.
In the afternoon again the T3 and TW6 will be escorted through the roadworks whilst the S34 will remain on diversion so again customers on the S34 that wish to travel to Halstead will need to transfer.
In morning and afternoon, buses may pause to get clearance to travel through the roadworks and customers on the S34 may have to wait when transferring buses.
